Hold on...seriously, all that kit to just review a few electronics? I don't work at Engadget of course, but surely, surely all you need is a camera (really with multiple lenses?! pah! your shotting close up gadgets not wildlife), and a laptop with charger/batteries!
They have to shoot close-up gadgets and far-away presenters, and definitely need a backup of everything (camera, battery, PC...) for events. Maybe they'll eventually cut out the video cam if DSLR recording gets easy enough, but that's about it.
