Video: First DJ Hero game trailer promises living room celebutantes

The folks behind DJ Hero know something we can't even admit to ourselves: we're losers, a deep disappointment to our parents who wanted us to ride with the cool kids. That's going to change in October when DJ Hero puts us on stage with nothing but a silver thong and faux deck peripheral to bring down the house. It'll be just like hanging out with Michael Alig only without the ketamine and murder. Video of what to expect from your avatar stripper after the break.

i hope the same thing... we need a hip hop music game... lol this will sell a lot! just hope it gets good competition like GH got rockband, they just make each other better... this game needs good competition to survive!

Me too, but this, after all, is just a game, and scratching and cutting and those "omg mad skilz" are somewhat more fun than beatmatching and all. That demands an extra game. :)

It may be my age but I just don't see this being anywhere near as successful as the likes of Guitar Hero. Perhaps all the kids these days aspire to be DJs rather than in a "traditional" music band but somehow I doubt it. Still, perhaps this does something exciting that I don't know about.
