Video: Beatles Rock Band trailer, screenshots, Ludwig drums unveiled at E3

Today at E3 some seriously awesome Beatles Rock Band awesomeness was unloaded upon the world. In addition to getting a look at the full band set-up, confirming that you will, in fact be able to perform multiple vocals (read: harmonies), Harmonix also showed off the general in-game madness we can expect. We're filled with glee to see that no corners were cut here, and we agree with Ringo's estimation: the game is good. The Beatles: Rock Band will be released simultaneously for XBox 360, PS3 and Wii in North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and other territories. Dang strait brother. I'm one of the 5 people on this planet that hasn't actually played a GH or RB title yet but this looks really appealing to start off with. Shame I don't have any friends to play it with.

Still, if they get round to a Led Zeppelin Rock Band, I'll get a loan and buy friends to play it with.

I can say, as a gamer with consoles from the NES to today, and every Beatles album on vinyl, that this is the single greatest achievement of pop culture in human history.

Does anyone know how the harmony bit works? I can't imagine having four mics all plugged in. Are they in the instruments?

You were able to plug mics into the instruments in rockband 2 so u could play guitar etc without holding the mic. so it looks like now u can add up to 3 people for harmony. Singings not really my thing for these games but its definitely a nice touch.

Im more of a GH fan though looking for difficulty. Not quite sure if this will be up to par on difficulty but it still looks good.

Awesome, Rock Band is the best game in the world and so is Guitar Hero. And so is that DJ game. I can win on expert, I bet I can play better than the guys who play the music in the real world. 5 stars, too.

No. It comes with one mic, a mic stand, the Höfner bass and the drums. The Gretcsch and Rickenbacker guitars and additional mics will be sold separately.

I see only one apparent problem in this game. minor, but still

as per all the screen shots, you can't do three guitars, drums and four mics (Ringo sang too!)

Has Gibson given up on their case, or was Rock Band not part of it? There were several Gibson copyrights in the photo gallery - the Gibson headstock and Epiphone logo (harder to see, but it's visible on John's Casino).

This game looks really awesome and fun, but it doesn't seem like it would be hard at all. I could be wrong, but for those of us that can beat nearly anything on expert in all the previous games, this will probably be a breeze imo.
