HTC showing some new stuff in London on June 24

HTC's throwing itself a little party starting at 11:30AM local time in London on Wednesday, June 24, though it's not saying what sorts of goodies will be unveiled there. As you might recall, the Touch Diamond was unveiled at a similar event just over a year ago, so it's very likely an important product that's going to be shown; the odds-on favorite would have to be the HTC Hero and its customized Android-based interface, but at this point, it's anybody's guess.

Update: Here's an interesting clue -- that's a rose on the dude's chest, as in the Rosie interface. Get it, eh? Eh?

Yeah that's what I would want as well. But this is almost 100% the HTC Hero launch event, as the article says.

Too bad its hardware is inferior to the G1 (no keyboard), and its software has already been leaked and installed onto the G1.

Chuck the GSM for CDMA, EVDO Rev A, and LTE and put it on Verizon in Q1, and I'll be tickled.

Sadly, the most unrealistic thing about that is it coming to Verizon within 9 months of announcement.

Yea, I think so too. They're just going to announce it to bring out the hype :) since it is Apple's known month to announce an iphone "next-gen." Hmmm. I headed over to Nvidia's Tegra site, and read "The first Tegra APX-based devices are expected to begin shipping in the second half of 2009." Do you guys think that HTC might announce the HTC Superstar??? Also, I was watching some youtube videos, and the guy said that their Tegra platform might be out before September (can't remember that well), but they were Netbooks, so not really sure if a phone might be coming out with it.
So I'm really hoping that they announce the Superstar.
Samsung is going to announce a new phone on June 15th -- android phone most likely
Palm is launching the Pre tomorrow June 5th
Nokia is (has, don't know yet) launching the N97 in this month
Apple is announcing (maybe) their next-gen iphone
and now HTC is having a June announcement as well O_O, too much don't you guys think???
