Nintendo Wii Vitality Sensor detects your pulse

And it looks like Nintendo's answer to Microsoft's Project Natal is... a pulse detector. Yep, Ninty's just announced the Wii Vitality Sensor, a finger sensor which attaches to the Wiimote to read your pulse. Details on how the accessory is going to be used in games are pretty vague, but it appears the idea is to check stress, help you relax, and just generally chill out and be groovy. That won't happen for a while yet, though: the Vitality Sensor was described as a "look into the future," so we're guessing we've got a wait in store.

This crap should be debuted on Oprah not E3.

I love Nintendo's games, but this is starting to get annoying. E3 doesn't have tweens, grandmas, and all of the other demographics.

E3 watchers are 85% 15-25 year old males and 15% others. No one seems to understand this. Showing Rock Band, GH5, The Conduit, and others are FAR more important than "Women's Murder Club".

Old technology from Nintendo I'm afraid.
A company called Vyro Games in Palo Alto and Dublin, Ireland has had a Bluetooth has had their PIP (Personal Input Pod) for some time now -

oh i get it! see, it will sense pulses that are caused by specific hand movements, basically replacing the nunchuk. see, like imagine placing the wii pointer over an object and making a grabbing motion w/ ur left hand, then it will pick it up, then just let go to drop tho object.

If you guys hate Nintendo, stop reading articles about them. Nintendo's not forcing you to buy their stuff. Go play with your Playstations and Xboxes! Stop complaining about Nintendo. Don't watch Nintendo's E3! Don't read about Nintendo! If you hate it some much, or think its a useless company , then why do you take your time complaining about it. Of course if you hated Nintendo so much, you wouldnt have bought any of their stuff, hence you should know nothing about the Wii or Ds unless you did some research on something you hate.
