Are you guys sure the MSRP is $999? I know that's the MSRP for the i7 965 Extreme Edition processor, but I hear this 975 will be around $1100. And the i7 950 that's replacing the 940 will be around $650 vs $550 respectively.
Why did the prices of the i7 go up? And I am pissed that Intel has plans to discontinue the 920 model for the i5 processors. If only the i5 processors used the same LGA 1366 socket and X58 chipset for backwards compatibility. Damn you Intel.

i play every game in 1600x900 and it works so softly , Crysis 2 , Nfs Shift , Grid , Split second , Call of duty 5 , Gta 4 , And much more .............
This article is woefully inaccurate. Many companies have planned 975 units, BFG just (as usual) jumped the gun, and released their piece of garbage
