@ becu55: My attitude is as good as any normal person, I have a comment for Engadget and I feel like sharing it with them, and my picture hasn't been changed since a couple of months now, don't act like a smart ass and just read my comments then reply to them or STFU, this is the internet, peanut head.

Saad, you're an unbelievable chatch and we have just as much right to tell you that as you have to bitch about engadget's coverage of something you don't care about. You know what I do when engadget post something I don't care about? I DON'T READ IT! and I don't complain like a baby because they also report on stuff I DO care about more often than not. I think you're the one that needs to grow up, man.

The more I see this game the more I have to ask: why? I absolutely "get" the concept behind Guitar Hero but DJ Hero really doesn't appeal. Guitar Hero allows you to "perform" the music that you love whereas as DJ Hero just seems to be about making a mess of it. Still, perhaps this does appeal to people and I'll be proven wrong when the thing sells bucketloads.
it might not appeal to you if its not your type of thing, but as a music loving, DJ admiring person i can tell you it is very appealing and it is getting attention form all us minorities who don't find the music from guitar hero and rock band appealing

Speak for yourself buddy. Guitar Hero is an amazing game and so are the songs. And this game looks like it will rock as well.
he obviously means the small amout of people not hanging from rock bands jock. did you really think he meant maybe black people or mohng or maybe even mayans? seriously? well...if thats the case your a frickin idiot.
Oh, don't get me wrong, I like my DJ sets as much as the next person (mind you, that's house/trance rather than hip-hop/rap) but I've never had the urge to pretend to be a DJ, nor do I think the music in the video sounded like anything I'd listen to (I like The Beastie Boys and Foo Fighters, just not at the same time). Frankly, DJ Hero is not "DJing" as I'd understand it, not least because it only has a single turntable. Maybe they should rename it "Scratch DJ", which I feel is a more accurate term for the experience.
Still, we'll see how it turns out but I am not expecting this to do anywhere near as well as the like of Guitar Hero/Rock Band.
Any options to include a mic in multiplayer? Thats where it's at.

Why is it a crappy techno/dance remix of Sabatoge?
This setup would work just fine with the original version or the song.
It's not a techno remix... it's worse. Why on earth would anyone overlay Sabotage with Monkey Wrench? Not a good mix at all.

Wow, that was absolutely horrible. Not their skills but the end mix. Sounded like sh!t.
DJ Hero looks neat, but seriously, I don't understand the mixes they've talked about so far. Maybe I don't hang out at the same clubs as these guys do, but is a DJ mashing up two mainstream rock songs really that interesting? Even a techno remix of one of these songs would be mediocre. How about actual music that a DJ would play? Well, yes, that would mostly mean artists that the average gamer has never heard of, and these franchises seem to be largely driven by playlists, but the result might actually be something worth listening (and pretending to DJ) to.
As it is, it seems like they don't have a lot of respect for the genre of music they're simulating. Hopefully they'll announce some better music.
