until you look at the side. I have an iPhone and a Pre on my desk now. Pre is almost twice as thick, and has a plastic screen. It's scratched already, just from sliding it across the desk the wrong way. The glass screen on my iPhone is a year old, and not a nick.
(i know, it's not actually the screen, it's the cover for the screen. The iPhone has a glass sheet over the screen, the Pre has a plastic one...)

The Pre looks like a nice shiny black pebble with the screen off too. I definitely like the size of the Pre it's very pocketable.

Well, the worst thing is, I'd favor iPhone on looks over Pre in a heart beat.
Then again, I don't like either...
