This, the non-colorful version, is a nice mouse, but I do find that if you dont' plug the receiver into a powered USB port (that is, if you plug it into a low-power USB port, such as on a USB keyboard), then the mouse gets flakey. For example the buttons will seem to "stick" (virtually, not physically). I have to plug the receiver directly into my MacBook, which sucks. You can also use a USB hub that has a power brick, though.
As far as RF versus Bluetooth mice, I have tried bluetooth mice and they suck donkey balls, unless you are a fan of clicking and clicking and twiddling thumbs while waiting for it to wake up or connect or whatever the hell it is doing a lot of the time when you go to use it. That was a while ago, though - maybe bluetooth is better now? I'd have to try before I bought another bluetooth mouse in any case.
The device is aimed at gamers and TV watchers, generating a 3D image with use of a pair of 0.7-inch OLED panels, which each display separate images, doing away with the ghost imagery that often comes along with 3D displays.
