Tata, NTT DoCoMo unveil new branding in India
The term "DoCoMo" is usually accompanied by a barrage of wild, high-end mobile hardware, so we have a tendency to sit up and pay attention whenever the storied name appears on a carrier anywhere in the world. India's Tata Teleservices -- of which NTT DoCoMo holds a 26 percent share -- is set to launch a newly-branded GSM service as Tata DoCoMo in the southern part of the country this month, followed by a "gradual" expansion nationwide. The logo's pretty awesome, the name's pretty awesome -- now we just need some Japanese domestic market handsets to go along with it and we'll be in business.

As a former employee of a Japanese domestic handset maker, they don't do so well of the island. Lost in translation or something. Interesting to see if any of them make a play for India.
Pacman?
I think India is one of the biggest Mobile markets out there. Esp, when it comes down to handsets and such. India plays a big role in making Nokia successful. Also, china but china is communist, so thats another debate. It will be interesting to see how this turns out. Considering Tata being the biggest IT industry in India like Infosys and all. I am sure everyone has read about Tata Nano some where.
