Nitho releases a plethora of Wii Motion Plus accessories

If your gaming experience seems a little underwhelming for want of little plastic Wii Motion Plus-compatible accessories, it looks like the gang over at Nitho has got your back. A quick trip over to the company's website reveals baseball bats, golf clubs, a revolver / nunchuck, charging docks, and more: all suitable for the make-believe Pete Rose, Arnold Palmer, or Chuck Norris in your life, and all in that boring white plastic that's become synonymous with the game system. We haven't seen a street date or price for these bad boys yet, but we're keeping our eyes peeled. PR after the break.

Ghatid @ Jun 26th 2009 2:27PM
Lol, was it that obvious? That was the first thing I saw too...

I realize the Wii is all about cartoonish, digital recreations of the real world's varied pleasures, but this seems to take the concept of "Motion Plus" in an entirely new and disturbing direction.
eattrn @ Jun 26th 2009 2:31PM
Does it have the rumble feature?
Chas Underwood III @ Jun 26th 2009 2:32PM
Looks a little like a Wii dentist kit!

FNG @ Jun 26th 2009 3:02PM

Jay Voorhees @ Jun 26th 2009 3:02PM
that's exactaly what i came here to say. motion plus accessories modeled on remotes that lack motion plus, or any motion for that matter. they're pretty stationary
Brainy142 @ Jun 26th 2009 2:45PM

Scott Fletcher @ Jun 26th 2009 3:01PM
Because what you need is something LONGER and HEAVIER to swing around in your living room. Next up: The Wii Broadsword?
Kamaraderie @ Jun 26th 2009 3:02PM
Just curious.
Why are the craptastic plastic add-ons covering the sensor?
NOCknock @ Jun 26th 2009 3:04PM
The one on the far right looks like a Wii tampon. :P
bublik @ Jun 26th 2009 3:10PM
fking dorks go play outside....
Justin @ Jul 2nd 2009 9:21PM
Why even bother speaking/typing/posting. This isn't a great product, but you sir are ignorant.
bublik @ Jul 3rd 2009 6:12AM
I'm just saying instead of buying this crap, people can buy a football for 20 bucks and play with it outside....
Rufus @ Jun 26th 2009 3:13PM
uhhh...The latest EA Sports Grand Slam Tennis title that uses the motion plus expects you to hold the controller with the D-pad UP as you swing the racquet. Meaning the tennis head on this thing is not oriented in the right direction to play Grand Slam Tennis. One would think that if you are trying to sell an accessory to play tennis with - it should at least work with all the current crop of tennis games. Oops.
MAAD @ Jun 26th 2009 3:29PM
COOL! Now my plastic WiiMote can have that plasticy plastic feeling when I swing it like plastic. PLASTIC!
Fire Burst @ Jun 26th 2009 4:47PM
you got to be kidding me. Wii is just too lame.
juangrande386 @ Jun 26th 2009 6:21PM
as stupid as these pieces of plastic are theres plenty of idiots who believe it helps out playing games and will buy them. its sad really.
Lucian @ Jun 27th 2009 5:01AM
awesome! now i can do serious damage to my wall/tv when i drop one of these
Justin @ Jul 2nd 2009 9:18PM
What would help is if any of these addons kept the wii motion plus stable at the bottom. If you play the sports games a lot the connection with the wiimote is a tad loose, not much but it would be nice if something kept this stable. These addons do nothing for that and serve little purpose.
