Man, remember that wicked awesome 59 foot tall Gundam they erected in Tokyo? Well, those pictures we saw a month ago were cool, but they're nothing compared to the splendor of the thing lit-up like a futuristic, killer Christmas tree. All part of Japan's elaborate plan to start manufacturing mass robots to build a robot army.. I heard there were plans to build a couple more of these "models".. and soon they will be able to create actual fully-functional Gundams that they will use to take over the world.

@_@ THE model kit of my DREAMS. I no longer want to build 1/100 scales. Please tell me once its taken down it can be put together in my backyard.

The head turns which is pretty sweet, but I think the coolest thing they could have done is made a functioning cockpit (open/close with sweet leather interior and console... robot Amuro inside? xD ), I would pay sweet money to sit in that thing. The detailing is so awesometastic.

Japan's not allowed to have anything but self defense force, so maybe they'll put all their budget into making Gundams which magically become fully functional over night... xD
