I received my preordered MyTouch on July 30th and I've been playing with it non-stop since. I really can't find anything to complain about, nothing to nit-pick. I use blue tooth headsets so the 3.5 jack isn't an issue for me. I rarely used a texting phone keyboard before, but I find the touch screen accurate and fast. I don't use text abbreviations, I type out full sentences in my e-mail and text messages (call me old fashioned but I'm not in that big of a hurry).
I see comments like "The XX phone is better" without any explanation why. I like this phone a lot and It's already made my life a bit easier: Really fast gmail, easy to start apps and to navigate. Nice little features like the draw pattern to unlock and lots of very usefull apps.
It's a keeper.
