Well, as history has shown, every 50 years or so stereoscopic 3D makes a emergence and is very popular for a few years or so and then dramatically declines. I'm crossing my fingers that technology and "correct" 3D recording/editing techniques keep the trend alive this time around. (eventually it will, it's inevitable IMO)
