like reading a book lying down..especially when it's not super warm. In a few minutes your arms are freezing and you don't know why

If you read the article he can sit up and still view. Although I would think neck strain would be a problem.

exactly, i tried to surf the web a bit from my phone while lying in bed yesterday and i just couldn't hold it up above my head.
but for just lying down and watching TV this looks ok
Lay your hands and your controller in your lap while you play, unless you're UB3rNUUBZ and have to look at the buttons on the controller to play?
No holding your arms up.
No cold, tired hands.
Pure laziness, the only effort you have to put into it is keeping your eyes open and wiggling your fingers on the buttons.
