To all the people in this forum thinking that the BT is in the "Vetch handset", you obviously don't know anything about the product. The BT is in the base, NOT the handset. Vtech invested millions of dollars into this phone project, I am sure that they thought it out and that it would be smarter to put BT in the base. To explain how this works, if you know anything about Bluetooth at all, the Vtech phone system uses the handsfree audio gateway profile to look like a "wireless headset" so that the audio can be routed from the cell phone to the base via BT connection, then from the base to the handset via the phones wireless connection so you can use the Vtech handset to take a phone call from your cell phone. People need to get their facts straight before bashing a new product they have probably never used.
