@ynp,
1st, Final Cut can support Blu-Ray
2nd, your theory of "No support for Blu-ray because Blu-ray competes with iTunes" is flawed. so how can u explain why optical drives still exists for Mac, don't they pose threat to music downloads from the iTunes Store?
oh i forgot, btw, IPHONESUXX.
.
screw you apple...
also: why would anyone NOT jailbreak? Seriously... 2 minutes and your phone is finally usable.
Just jailbroke our two iPhone 3Gs. Thanks Apple!
BTW Purplera1n rocks!!!! Exactly 3 minutes each!
If the reason that this isn't being approved is because AT&T is being a little bitch, why exactly can't this be approved for other markets, like Canada?
Wait. I just got GV Mobile off the App Store yesterday...
I love the smell of jailbreak in the morning. It smells like... victory.
Well I got mine off Installous so whatever I didnt have to wait and I knew it wouldn't be able to be removed if it got taken off the app store. So im good! I wont bother getting it off cydia cause ill be upgrading to OS 3 soon...
what does this app do?
don't tell me it actually enables the iPhone to make calls :o
google phone apps are trash. Good for the kiddies though.
As far as Skype......how about this idea.
1. Download Skype from App Store.
2. Download 3G Unrestrictor from Cydia. (Allows Skype over 3G)
3. Signup for Skype unlimited calling for $2.95 per month.
4. Signup for online phone number via Skype.
5. Forward Google Voice number to Skype number.

@beckhams777 - How much do you use it this way? Have you received any additional data charges?

Any solutions for using this on Symbian phones?
I have a 5800XM which I totally love, I switched from a 3G Iphone when my company offered me a free unlimited minutes/Data SIM card, with the caveat that no Iphones could be used.(ATT policy, even for a Tier 1 subscriber like our company, they still require an "Iphone" data plan instead of the normal smartphone plan.) I tether hulu each day too and from work.
I love the look of this app on the Iphone and if I was still using my 3G, I would definitely download it from cydia (jailbroke the first week I bought it). I was recently invited to google voice and have done some initial setup, but without an app, I'm still trying to get it integrated into my lifestyle. I suppose if anything the web app may prove useful.
If they would release an android set with a keyboard like the G1, but with ATT 3G bands, I would be all over it. I just want it to be reasonably priced, since I always buy unlocked no contract sets, since I have no need for a plan.
Hey people, save your rage and fury!
Voip apps will NEVER be allowed on cellular networks.
Think of it. Why would any carrier allow some fancy-schmancy apps cut its bread and butter - voice traffic? What those Voip apps, like GV, Skype do is just that: they use 3G bandwidth to circumvent regular voice traffic - the very essence of telecom cos. Plus they are huge bandwidth hogs. People in telco carriers are not stupid, they are not in charities.
Be glad ATT allowed iPhone Skype app to be used on Wi-Fi.
What happened to Nokia's announcement of Skype app on N97?
Why's that Skype native app has been around for ages on WinMo, and still sucks?
It's strictly business.
Jailbroke my iPhone last night. (It was cake to do... Wish I had done it sooner now)... No longer will I allow Apple to decide what apps I'm allowed to use.
There is a VOIP program that works on cell phones - Fring. Check it out.

Great! Now about Opera....
Hallelujah! This can only mean good things for the application, as the amazing developer of GV Mobile won't have to go through the convoluted application review process now which will allow him to add even better features. Yay Cydia!
i think it may be a sky competitor
