I am a current Neuros OSD owner. It's good for what it is; captures TV shows to SD/external HD.
One feature I'd recommend, borrow from TiVo where it is always recording to buffer. So that way, when I realized I should have recorded that commercial or want to replay that touchdown, I don't have to record ahead of time.
Menu is laggy, but intuitive. YouTube and music player are great, but I don't make the most of them. Hulu support would really make me consider a OSD 3.
