Finally. I love my G5 v2 but I hate the way the G9 looks. If my G5 fails, I'm definately going for the G500.
The headset looks alright, but doesn't really wow me. I bet the earphones sound horrible.
All 5 of my cousins, my brother and me have a G5 mouse. LAN parties on vacations with our laptops are awesome....
The MX 1000 was the perfect gaming mouse for me. 10 (!) programmable buttons. Every game action in any game I have can be mapped to those ten buttons. It's soooo useful when playing an MMO. When they were discontinued I panicked and bought two extra copies still in their original packaging. Nothing comes close to the MX 10000 :-(. Logitech mice are tough too! I still play with my original MX, it's been four years now and the battery and inputs are still going strong! I just make sure to clean it once in a while.
How can people be confused with 3 side buttons? The placement is perfect. Logitech for the love of all that is tech, bring back the MX 1000!
This thing looks perfect: ten programmable buttons, high dpi, ergonomic, and cheap. The only thing that could make it better is if it had those wells for your fingers on the clickers. Which I dont see in the pictures.

It's just so darn nice I will never replace it.
I love having corded mice and keyboards because the lag (i know it's minimal but it ticks me off) is there on wireless stuff. And don't get me started in Bluetooth.
I do have wireless mouse (Logitech also) when I feel like sitting on couch and controling/FF/REW'ing a movie (that I downloaded illegally) but for day-to-day use, G5 it is (the blue one)!
They are priced 79.99 in europe, now if you check the exchange rates then that would be equal to $114 US dollars, that's right onehundredandfourteen smackers
Hey logitech, go get a hooker if you want to screw people why don't you.
And it's a euro company, so basically they give US consumers a whopping 62% discount for uhm, secret prison torture achievements? Ruining the world economy? What?
Or is the idea that euros pay 50 extra because they are morons and easy targets for scams?
And ironically even the lowest price they ask is still taking a very very liberal (or should I say republican) slice of profit, on something that is probably about $24.95 to produce with profit if it didn't have their name on it.
I have to agree, they are just price-gouging us, no wonder they don't get any happy European customers. Razer etc they are all the same. I feel your pain...
