HTC is such a joke, i've ranted and ranted about them and their lack of innovation before, and now i'm all but settled...passing on the touch pro 2.
With the way HTC's been jamming these 528Mhz Qualcom processors into their products, makes you take a step back and wonder....well i'm not exactly sure what, just wonder.
Seems like they're trying to finish off their supply so they can place orders for Snapdragons and Tegras.

Why do HTC keep going with this Qualcomm shite??
There is hardly any differentiator amongst their top end phones. Thought the whitestone would have upped things a bit.
I guess they may have decided to wait for WinMo7 before upping their game. Is there no other WinMo/Android manufacturer that will push HTC to do better. even with Samsung upping their game with Omnia II HTC is still sitting on its ass.
WinMo7? Didn't that get pushed out to sometime in 2011? I would hope that HTC has other ideas than just planning to use the same processor for ANOTHER two years.
SE coming out with Android device running ARM A8 Cortex CPU. But then again probably wont be out till next year.
Is HTC trying to make the best phone possible or are they trying to make the most money? With that bad processor, you might just have your answer.
That is Qualcomm's faster processor and the same one in the Blackberry Storm and Tour.

I think they bought a huge stock of 528MHz Qualcomm processors and now are trying to get rid of them!

frankly, the placement of the buttons on most smartphones are horrible...
my thumb can never reach the bottom without barely holding onto the phone... :(
they should consider putting the buttons on the sides... accessible by fingers and and thumbs...

i feel if i designed smartphones you guys would all buy them.
there are so many stupid decisions that go into these phones its just hard to imagine. You would think that people being paid tons of money on research and dev of this stuff would do a better job.
yet if they did, we would only have 1-2 phones cuz they would be so good there would be no need for others.
THANK YOU! I use this iPhone thing and every time I need to hit that stupid button I wonder who the heck designs things like this? Don't you have one person in your whole company who tries it and asks the question: "why the fuck is this button placed where it is literally in the hardest to reach place for your thumb no matter which hand you're using to hold the phone?"
Leave alone having one single ergonomics expert go over the thing once.
The side of the phone where the thumb rests naturally when holding it with your right hand and the same region where your forefinger rests naturally when holding it with your left hand is where THE SOLE BUTTON ON YOUR DEVICE should be.
Somebody, anybody, figure out where buttons should be on a touch large screened device. It's not the bottom.

Wonder whose decision was it, HTCs or Verizons for the cover considering it's a wraparound and keys are similar like the TP2? HTC will probably reskin any phone to their customer's whim as they are paying for the phone in bulk quantities.
I think HTC is flooding the touchscreen phone market. Its like the come out with 2 to 4 new phones each month.
