Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"As someone who doesn't reside in the USA, I was wondering what would be the best way to get internet for my computer in the US for a couple of weeks? If it were Europe I know I'd look for some prepaid data. Is there anything similar offered by American carriers? A MiFi or a data SIM that I can tether from would work, but I'm trying to maintain a tight budget. Help!"
I think it's time to say F-you iPod, hello Zune HD
so subtle...
I'm in.
Just waiting for them to hit retail.
only that the iPhone, Pre, Blackberries and Androids will be laughing at this thing
Yuuup, because the iPhone, pre, blackberries, and androids are all phones where as this is a music player. That was a good try though.
Project Pink.
They'll be laughing because they know that this will never ever be a phone. There will never be an MS-produced phone so this is all that this product will ever be relegated to and destined to go head on with the Touch. No contest.
@Fox you're right, the Touch will never be able to compete with the Zune HD due to the shitty processor that is destined to be stuck in it as long as it has to be compatible with the iPhone too.
Yup, I agree with FK. MS, makers of Windows, and Mobile just don't match for 6 reasons, well, 6.5 but I won't bother listing them here. And Windows and their version of a Mobile OS (regardless of which revision, even 6 or some random number) won't have 12.4% of the market despite producing ONLY software. Especially by allowing manufacturers to put it on anything with a battery and screen, no matter how shitty the experience will end up.
Hey, let's compare an old processor clocked extremely low and no dedicated graphics to the fastest clocked processor for its platform and best-in-platform graphics chip. Actually, let's compare their OSs and call it based on an even match.
.___.
The zune software is just awful though. It takes up so much resources and is always lagging up my computer.
@Will
Have you ever used iTunes? If you think Zune software is bad...try iTunes. It's the worst.
Silly foxkenji, phones can't laugh...or have iPhones developed that scary attribute as well....
