It also seems that flat screens have not yet been invented in the patent illustration world.
Yep. I myself haven't done anything like this, but I know a few people in my office that draw creepy looking people/objects for sport in draft patents.
Have these illustrators no sense of scale or anatomical knowledge? The hip/leg area looks like a bowel and the poor creature's right leg is attached to its arm.

As we all know from the Wii's lack of HD, Nintendo is trying hard to ignore the fact that put out a game console that uses display technology from ten years ago. In Nintendo's world, CRT televisions are still all the rage.

I have lost all faith in the Wii. I wanted to like it, I didn't care if the graphics weren't as good as other systems, but with a lack of good games and a bunch of party crap, and now a controller that you ride?, I have lost all faith.

I saw this on kotaku yesterday. They seemed to think nintendo was actually going to *build* one of these, instead of just patent random ideas like every company does.
Why not build it?
