Zune HD color options revealed in pre-order email

We already knew that the Zune HD would be available in five different colors, and a just sent out pre-order email has now given us our first (very small) glimpse of the options available. In addition to the standard black and silver (or platinum, as Microsoft calls it), it seems you'll also have your choice of blue, lime green, and a red / maroon color, each of which can also be adorned with your choice of 10 exclusive Zune Originals designs. From the looks of it, however, folks pre-ordering are limited to the two less colorful options.

Wow I'm getting this in need of a new Zune had mine for 2 years longer than any iPod I owened before switching over
I have a Zune 120 that I absolutely love but I think I'd trade both of my dogs for a 64GB+ Zune HD. This is a gorgeous piece of hardware and from what I've seen in videos it has software to match. But especially with HD video, 32GB is just not enough.

Dang it! I was pretty set on the platinum color till I saw that they have a red version... dang it, now I can't decide...
I have two macs and two ipods and an iphone. That said, I think Microsoft is really starting to build a competitive attractive looking product. I want to take a look at one of these.
I just wish that 32gb would also come in black.
I'll get one if it works on a mac... I'd love to have a Zune for video and just keep my iPhone for music.
I've been an apple/ipod groupie forever, but this is the first product that has ever had me 'think different' about the other 15 percent market share in Mp3. There's no way it's an ipod killer, but it might take another bite out of the apple.
makes me wonder what new things Apple will introduce with the new iPod Touch :)

I don't imagine that the changes will be any different than from current hardware specs of the Iphone 3GS. They'll probably add a camera, video recording, possibly bump up the processor.
It's always been just a copy of the iphone without phone capabilities.
I don't see the big deal, my very first mp3 player had an OLED screen.

This is a 480x272 px screen, unlike the 128x64 px screen yours had. One can actually function, the other is barely visible. In addition, this is a modern OLED. It saves battery, doesn't burn in the colors (I'm looking at you, blue LEDs), and, given the age of your quoted MP3 player, actually displays in full color.

Can anyone confirm if it has Bluetooth (A2DP) or not? If not that's a dealbreaker for me.

I already have a flash zune and i can barly fit all of my music on it. I'm thinking of gett the zune hd, but then it makes me feel like i wasted all of my money one the old zune that would just lay around my house. any ideas what I should do with it?
Use it for the gym, maybe? Or make it your media center device and use the HD for mobile? Or just keep it as a backup player. Or sell it.

Yet to be announced, but the device will come with a few. Expect more development on the Apps (which are confirmed) by next year.

They look awesome! Anyone know if the 16gb will be customizable in Zune Originals to platinum. Also can I use Zune originals just for the color and have no design while keeping the Zune Logo engraving and maybe a text engraving?
