Xbox Micro makes the Wii look overweight
Welcome to Micro Saturday at Engadget! In the absence of hard hitting stories and shocking exposés, we thought we'd turn to the lighter -- and thinner -- side of the news. Enter the Xbox Micro, a 1-inch thick celebration of all that is good and holy about the world of DIY mods. It took six months to make, with a few clever design decisions along the way, but it looks good enough to make even the ninja-black Wii suck its gut in. Comparison pics with the original behemoth are after the break, and hit the read link to see the exposed guts of this little beauty.

Are there any people you can just pay to mod an old Xbox like this? I still have old games I want to play but I’ve given up on the terrible backwards compatibility on the 360, the DVD drive on my old Xbox is stuck, I have barely any room for it, and I have absolutely no experience in modding consoles.
does it run hot enough to make an omlette on the sides?
The Xbox was one ugly console...
The SNES looks like a prince rank console compared to it.
I'd like to see some comparison shots next to an apple TV since that is more or less like the same size or so
i got to use this thing on Saturday. its pretty sweet. bandit just needs ideas for a new project lol
Would love to know more about the costs and workmanship involved in making this come to life. I probably would be unable to do it myself, but I know a few diy gurus. To the guy who created this...: are you in USA?
good stuff! just what i need nice to know there are still moding xbox1's
