Sure, Taiwanese HTC Magic owners might be happy today, being promised Hero's Sense UI via official channels, but thanks to the hard work from Redmond Pie deviantART member Justflikwalk, this very stylish skin has jumped species and landed on the iPhone. A jailbreak is required, but once past that hurdle, you'll get a new home page with the ever-so-classy time and weather widget -- which isn't always 73 degrees and sunny, we might add -- a quick launcher for apps / contacts, and of course some modified icons. All pertinent files for the theme and step-by-step instructions are available via the read. Care to gaze upon the awesomeness using the power of moving pictures? Video after the break.
The full Sense UI on iPhone 3GS hardware would be nice. This theme looks nice, but it seems like most iPhone themes look good in screenshots but not in actual use. Usually it is the couple of icons that don't fit the theme or some unpolished little UI element that doesn't look right.
If HTC and someone like Samsung could merge that would be a great phone. HTC makes some good hardware but seems married to these underpowered Qualcomm chipsets. Samsung (and Apple) makes some good hardware, but has a crappy UI.
Wow, the guy in the video really doesn't know what he is talking about, with the "links to" and "quick launchers". Anyone with a little knowledge of how winterboard works know that there are just app icons and wallpapers. The guy in the video really made me laugh his over-complication of simple things.
OMG!!! Stop moving your eff'n thumb!!! It's like those people that have to insist on constantly moving the laser pointer across the presentation screen. Unless you are actually going to swipe or activate something on the screen, keep your thumb out of the picture.
If this works on a first gen ipod touch at all I will probably give this a try, the home screen is better even if I have to deal with the phone button, maybe I can make that pull up the web or something
bah, the more I think about it the more that phone button puts me off, the iphones/ipodtouch ui really isnt that great
For your Info, that guys is using Windows 7 on a Hp laptop. He's just an iphone user, not a Mac user. It may not represent that a Mac fan did it. Mac fans revere their OS too much to mod it- cause Steve Jobs says this is the best iphone yet and they will obey!!
that would be nice, as it solves the one issue besides no multi-tasking... Counting the number of clicks to un-sleep an iphone, check the weather, time, date, to do list and calendar.... all stuff that was included in 1 click on my old Tilt...
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.

We get to 1:30 before the video even does anything even mildly interesting. Why don't you do stuff AND talk about it at the same time.

HOW DO YOU PUT THIS THEME ON YOUR IPHONE ... THANX
