I have a EX-Z57 and the thing is rugged as hell. It has outlasted 2 Canons, which isn't saying much since I've had problems with every single Canon product I've owned going all the way back to the A1 SLR. My Casio has been abused left and right and it still goes and the battery lasts forever between charges, even at 3 years old. My only complaint is that it doesn't do very well in low light situations or even in good light situations where you don't want the flash going off, and it could use some sort of image stabilization.
