If the slim will be $300, then how much will the fat 80gig be? $250?
Yes, because a 1gb ipod nano today would be $19. Because we all know the most expentive part of electronics is the HDD space. So yes $250.
HOw about a 40GB PS3 for $99 would you like that?
How else will they clear remaining stock? Who will choose the fat ps3 with a smaller hdd for the same price?
The fat 80GB will largely be out of stock, if they've scheduled it right. (Sure i'd expect clearout discounts.)
They will end up at warehouse clubs for $279 and rubes will buy it because its at a wholesaler.
