First two Microsoft retail stores now hiring
Interested in handling the Zune HD and other such goodies ahead of time? Microsoft's first two retail stores are now hiring, and if you've always dreamt of being a "retail associate" now's your chance to stand on the front lines. The job will require at least some geographical proximity to the Scottsdale, Arizona or Mission Viejo, California store locations, a love for technology, and the memory to remember all those Windows 7 SKUs, but those are just small hurdles -- the honor and courage will have to come from within.

now you all know you just wanna apply so you can see her in real life...... i know i do [=

Would you like a Zune with that?
What, too much Apple competition in Seattle or, dare I say it, Redmond?
This is my first comment here on Engadget and i've reading the blog for a while, but this picture is just too good to not aknowledge it. haha. Uncle Ballmer FTW!

Ever!!
I never thought I would prefer boring Bill Gates over another Microsoft exec, but Steve Ballmer is such a tool!
Not particularly a microsoft fanboy, but I'd apply to these stores in a heartbeat. Waiting for one to open in Cupertino or around the area...
...this is a joke, right?
and why would i be...? because it's too close to apple? isn't that the point?
@em1
dont be a haturrr
Are they ever going to open a store at the Mall of America?!
Is it possible to create image on the initial 30 day trial and then after the 120 day go back to that image and start the 120 days over again? At least that would be a way to avoid a CLEAN reinstall with all the chipset drivers and basic applications.
you seem a little lost...
try 5 topics down...
Fuuuck that.
What the hell? No Redmond or Seattle locations yet? Fail.
oops
My brother-in-law just accepted a job to the Mission Viejo store. He's going to be the manager there. Fresh recruit from the Apple store in Orlando FL. Say Hi to him for me. His name is Eric Fields and he's a real nice guy.
If they open one in Raleigh, I'll be there. Working with Surfaces and the latest Windows hardware and software would be a blast.
Do employees get to beat Apple users with a bat?
It's Microsoft. They'll beat everyone with bats.
Balmer Wants YOU to spread the good word! Oh and to remind everyone that vista wasn't that bad :)
Please go international, Microsoft :3
I hear that they're going to do morning pep rallies via satellite with Ballmer leading them in the "monkey boy" and "developers" cheers.
I'm really hoping they soon open one near the Apple Store in the Valley Fair Mall in San Jose. I'd love to see a store that close to Cupertino (and also close to me, so I can apply to work there).
Great. Now Apple Store rejects can find a place to work
