If they really took it out, that's a really cheesy way to lower the price, especially since they took out Fable II and Halo 3.

No, it doesn't come with an HDMI or component cable. Composite only.
I read somewhere it doesn't come with an ethernet cable anymore either, but I don't have any confirmation of that.

ryan, that's old. they pro is dead and the arcade/elite are the only 2 systems. not today, but soon.
For a person like me who's got no more available HDMI ports left on TV, component cable was and still is a must-have. I'm planning to get a 360 and I think I'll end up getting a Pro instead!

it's not even a way to lower the price. a 6' HDMI cable would cost MS like $3.
