Steampunk mouse, now with 100 percent more skull
If Lord Byron had been hip to this newfangled computer thing way back in his day, this might just have been the sort of peripheral he'd have been sporting. Made from a real sheep's skull -- and real brass, though that's somehow less interesting -- this mouse has everything a megalomaniacal world conqueror needs to feel at home: fine ornamental detailing, the soothing texture of real bone, and the enticing mental image of crushing skulls every time you click. There's not much wiggle room here, you'll either love it or loathe it, but don't fret about the sheep, it died of natural causes. More pics after the break.

It's somehow very unnatural yet fascinating at the same time.
I'll stick to my Microsoft home mouse for the time being...
Yes, that was exactly my reaction
creepy!
I wish it were wireless.
This is Steampunk! Cutting the wires loose would completely ruin the concept.
Uh, doesn't having a wire ruin the comcept anyways?
Couldn't run this thing on steam, could you? Wire is the next best thing
If the wire were exposed copper cable, with no shielding, then that'd be more steampunk. Wouldn't work, but it'd be steampunk.
telegraph cable was available in the steam age so it still fits the decor.
It is a steam wire!
I think this is the coolest thing I've seen all day
Yeah, but where's the supplier of skulls so we can duplicate the effort?
Alas poor Yorrick. What have they done to you?
You sir, get my vote for best reply.
If it was supposed to be the mouse of a megalomaniacal world conqueror, wouldn't it be a human skull? Not ergonomic enough, perhaps. A pygmy skull?
Also, not to nitpick, but it's "Yorick." Just sayin'.
I can just imagine Prince Hamlet sitting down at the computer and giving a monologue while holding this mouse :)
...Then surfing some porn.
Horatio pass me the purell.
Yorick was a court Jester in Hamlet. I take it you gave up the tuba?
Yes, and Hamlet holds up Yorick's skull and talks to it in "Hamlet," hence the joke.
Thanks for playing.
Errrrr.....
This will go great with my matching set of skull cups, bowls, and lamps.
You forgot the skull JBL Speakers, the ivory keyboard the leather mousepad..
Since no previous mouse had a skull, a mouse with 100% more skull should also have 0 skulls.
Great logic.

@10minutehobo: wtf?????
I'm totally making one of those for my wife's birthday. She'll love it!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
** end psychotic breakdown **
Don't look at me like that, you Phreak, I didn't make that :p
Oh my god...You sick bastard!
ah! so this is where dolly the sheep went off to. brings a whole new meaning to the "clone" tool in photoshop eh? ha!
PUN OVERLOAD!!!1!
@jeesusfreek
What? Are ewe feeling sheepish that you laughed at a punny joke? Ewe can't pull the wool over my eyes. Baaad jokes give the interwebs its personality to separate it from the herd. So be a lamb, would you, and stick your tounge firmly in your cheek.
transmuting a flawed skull into the mouse socket = steals 100% life & -200% chance of finding girlfriends
Simply disgusting.
It is without any sort of protest that I must express a total acquiescence with the above statement.
Skulls are NOT steampunk though, more like stoneagepunk.
And yeah I don't like it either but that's a matter of taste I guess.
Steamgoth then.
No shortage of victorian/gothic skull motifs.
The entire rest of it is steampunk, and im sure in older times they made use of such things. Who says they didnt make such tings in medevil times? :P
Skulls are...ergonomic...
Recession antidote?
This needs to be the next recession giveaway.
I WANT!!!
I can only imagine what animal rights activists would say about this. "You made a poor innocent sheep's skull into a peripheral, you deserve to be in jail for defiling a sheep's corpse."
Gorgeous. Excellent design on this one.
I'm confused... the cord is at the bottom of the mouse? Is this some new trend for mouses that I'm not aware of? Seems it would be more of a hassle that way :o
totally impractical, but hawt. I would rock that mouse.
This is PERFECT!!!!!!
I have been looking for a new accoutrement for my Lair of Nefarious Intent. I am now moving to the next item on the list; can anyone point me in the direction of a keyboard with the keys constructed from teeth. I want the letters on the keys (teeth) to be inlaid brass or gold to tie in with the contemporary "bling" look. The general construction of the keyboard should still be in the steampunk vibe though, mechanical and very 'clicky' posts under the keys would be fantastic. That way when I bang out a reply to a troll who is jumping on my last nerve I can imagine I am punching them in the mouth with every keystroke, and bashing a skull onto the desk when I click on 'submit.' BWAHAHAHaHhahahahahahhAHAhahahaha!
Do any of you Steampunk fans watch Warehouse 13? It's chock full of steampunk gadgets.
slightly frightening... :/ > <
This thing is Gorgeous!!!! The detailing is brilliant
Where's the Woolite?
