Wiipod modder shoves an MP3 player in his Wiimote, calls it a day
Readers, don't act like you're appalled that this mod consists entirely of an old iPod shuffle shoved into the battery compartment of a Wiimote game controller. If anything, you should be amused that this mod consists entirely of an old iPod shuffle KIRF shoved into the battery compartment of a Wiimote game controller. See for yourself after the break.

KIRF WiiPod Shuffle.
People, get a life. How fun is it going around correcting grammar on a tech blog?
Apparently its very fun, so those who find it fun go to engadget where there is a surplus of blatent grammar and language mistakes. After all its not exactly what you call serious journalism so i think people let them go, or just simply dont have the brainpower and or know-how to notice.
Blatant not blatent. And don't not dont.
I don't get how people make so many bloody mistakes considering this squiggly line comes up under words that you misspell or aren't English.
Are you seriously in that much of a hurry to post on here that you don't care if it's gibberish or not?
why should we have to have perfect grammar if we are commenting on an article? really why?
Well, for one thing, not all browsers have that squiggly line. You know, most of the world still uses IE, so it's not astonishing that a significant minority of even a tech blog's readers would be using it.
Besides, it's easy to get in the habit of ignoring the annoying squiggles when they come up for words that are perfectly valid jargon or proper names; adding them to the dictionary every bloody time is too much trouble, so I mostly ignore it. However, I still make mostly correct posts, particularly WRT spelling. This is because I know and care about proper English, and no technological crutch (as helpful as it may be) is either necessary to augment that, nor sufficient to replace it.
thats not a mod.. he shove that ipod in there..
Agreed.
uhhh
The other day, I put my mp3 player in my pocket. Should I submit pictures to y'all?
Now, if I made it so my zipper was a volume control, that would be a different story.
"Why did you just unzip your pants?" "The music just got to be too loud." "..................."
So basically all he has done here is to add weight to a KIRF shuffle, and to make it more difficult to change songs.
"Times like this, very useful ultrasonic cutter." The Future is here!
haha, that is a "winfail if i ever saw one! its like when you see a magic act and the magician does this trick that seems so cool and then you find out how its dont and you say, " oh, im a dip, that was so stupidly easy i could have done that on a pillbinge" but the magician got you to ooo and ahhh anyways....see? WINFAIL!
Sooner or later hes gonna wanna put two AA batteries in there cos, you cant play wii sports resort with a wiimote powered by a fake ipod shuffle!
this is just *facepalm* material. normally when people diss things for not being a mod they're just being mean, but wow. even i cant call this a mod.
Why is this news? Oooh, if I stuff a grill cheese sandwich inside my NDS, do I get on the front page of Engadget too? :)
This deserves a big HEE-HAW salute!

Lame, would not be lame if you could still use wiimote, then it would have been pretty amazing
Right, So by combining 2 devices and crippling one and wasting the other rates an article.
How is this post worthy?
This is stupid and ridiculous. How did this make it on engadget?!
woulda of been really cool if the music played out of the shit speaker on the wii remote, n used the wii remotes d-pad for controlling :P
