Assuming all these new Elites are Jasper, you *should* be fine. Unfortunately I don't think you'll ever hear someone 100% guarantee your 360 won't die - the overall design is just flawed.

Just RROD'ed yesterday. Unit was bought the day 360 was first released. Total bummer!
By replacement plan, I'm sure you mean the warranty? The only thing you would need is a thousand boxes to ship it off to get fixed every week.
