These Sanyo Xacti cams are cool. The biggest advantage they have over cameras like the Flip HD and the Creative Vado is a nice real lens with optical zoom, and if you wait for a sale at a big retailer, you can get them for a lot less than the MSRP.
Yeah, I bought a similar Sanyo camcorder a couple weeks ago for $140 at wal-mart. The 1080p video is nice and crisp, but the camera isn't that great overall. The screen is really hard to see outdoors, framerate isn't consistent, and when you zoom in and out the autofocus doesn't keep up so it goes blurry while zooming. But for $140 it's still a pretty good deal as long as you're not planning on doing a lot of filming in full sunlight.
I have the CG10 and its a great cam. Very handy with a nice optical zoom. Better PQ than Flip HD.

I bought a CG11 at radioshack (The Shack now I guess) for $180, it's a great deal and takes some great footage. Here is a video I did with the camera http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UME5nX1J7MU , just make sure you have good lighting.
I have a different form-factor Sanyo Xacti (VPC-TH1) and while the image quality is quite good for the price, the auto focus is slow and the digital image stabilizer is near worthless when you have any zoom at all. Still, probably can't complain for $200.
I have one of the older, non-HD, models. I think it's CG-65. It's an average camera. The best part about this xacti line is the small size and the pistol grip. The pistol grip, in particular, gives you the freedom to only use one hand while shooting video, so you can film while holding stuff on your other hand, or opening doors, or, as I did, driving through the countryside. Using the rectangular-shaped digicams for video is a little harder because your fingers can slip a little after a while, or block/smudge the lens with your fingers, and so forth. So for that reason the xacti it's great.
Spec-wise, most of these digital cameras are about the same...

Yeah piratebay is gone forgood it seems, but others will take over, just make sure your torrents work and if not add an alternative tracker because that openbittorrent one that runs on the same serverpark is also no more, probably because the authorities also came down as a ton of bricks on the whole provider.
