Xbox 360 Pro 60GB for $230 during Woot Sellout
While it's no guarantee that a retail price drop is coming, seeing an Xbox 360 Pro selling for just $230 (plus $5 shipping) during a Woot Sellout certainly piles-on the evidence. The Woot model is your typical 60GB Pro (rumored to have reached end-of-life) with HDMI-out, wireless controller, headset, and component AV cable. However, instead of carrying a $300 price it costs about $70 less than your nearest brick-and-mortar will charge. The best deal you'll find until the rumored price cuts get official. So what's it going to be, slim, pull the trigger or wait?

they are all sold out now....
I just came here to say: "Battlefield 1943 on XBox Live FTW"
Umm yeah... I picked up one of the 20GB pros when they were $139.00 That son of a bitch red ringed after 1 month. They didn't have any more replacements and issued a refund.
As if it goes without saying, do not buy this. An XBOX 360 w/o a warranty is worthless.
You do realize that all refurbished Xbox 360s (which is what that woot was) come with a 1-year warranty from Microsoft, right?

Besides, the console that was sold today was new and thus had the 3-year warranty for RROD and 1-year for everything else.
Mine was not under warranty. I checked with Microsoft (as did woot) which is why a refund was issued.
Don't assume so much.
Fair enough. Just seemed odd is all. :-/
You're fine. I'm still butthurt over the loss. I really got attached to that thing. It started red-ringing toward the end of Tales of Vesperia (about a month into playing). I'm convinced that the xBox 360 is the most entertaining console I've ever owned, which is why I was really hurt when Microsoft wouldn't honor the very warranty you linked me to. I'm sure woot was disappointed, too.
I'll also apologize because I didn't realize these woot units were new. I'm mad at myself for missing out on that.
I'm saving up for another one, though.
