Officially.
Update: Microsoft tells CNET, "We are looking into the details of this situation. We apologize and are in the process of pulling down the [Polish] image."
Update 2: And... it's down. The un-shopped image is now up on the Polish site, although whatever harried graphics monkey that got the call to fix it didn't do so well lining up the text box. At least that's one mistake that won't get you fired though, right?

Do we *really* have nothing better to worry about? MS were simply adjusting to the target demographic. It's a well-evidenced fact that 98% of the Polish population is 'white-skinned'. It's a basic marketing technique. You wouldn't see me up in arms if they photoshopped everyone to be black-skinned in this image for display on a localized version of the website aimed at a predominantly black-skinned market. There's bigger issues in the world than freaking skin pigments, really...
