You know, I constantly get sick and tired of people telling WinMo to "die" and "vanish from the face off the Earth". WiNMo 6.x may not be something extordinary, but it gets the job done. And when WinMo 7 comes out, it'll be like the Windows 7 for WinMo phones. Kind of like how 6 was like Vista for them.
"it'll be like the Windows 7 for WinMo phones. Kind of like how 6 was like Vista for them"
So basically, a cosmetic enhancement with a little bit of speed added onto it. Remember:
Vista = 6.0 (actual Microsoft internal version number)
Win 7 = 6.1 (actual Microsoft internal version number)
They should call it the Terminator. And the other one should be called the SkyNet.

I got to play with an Android device today. I think I could get rid of my iPhone for one. I love the way you can customize it. I feel like Apple thinks I'm too big of an idiot to be able to change things on my phone. Even with jailbreak I feel it is still limited. I'm keeping my eye out for a nice Android device but I want it to have decent processing power.
All I can say is "Bring it on!"
@Josh: The Google/Moto apps will not be the same as those in the android marketplace since they are now releasing Android 2.0 (Eclair) and this has tons of new features that the existing marketplace software does not have, and Motorola has hired 350 Android developers to work on this product and new applications, some of which will appear pre-installed on their devices.
@Someperson: The G1 was a "Google Experience" phone, a phone branded to Google with Android 1.0 and it was made by HTC to run on T-Mobile. The G2 will be another "Google Experience" phone, a phone branded to Google with Android 2.0, Eclair and will be made by Motorola to run on Verizon.
Time to buy a phone.
