Video: Pocket Pain Doctor is the worst iPhone app. Ever.
The Pocket Pain Doctor is an iPhone app "guaranteed to invigorate your mind" and rid you of such pesky things as fatigue, drowsiness, and acne. Of course, it also has all the telltale signs of modern day snake-oil: questionable claims about "Bluwave" and "Redwave" technology, "clinical proof" that has nothing to do with the product, and the faux sophistication of using "exacting nanometers" to adjust the, uh, brightness. Cherry on the cake? It's made by the same creepy one-man clown show responsible for the Pocket Cemetery app.

Now all we need is a dedicated group of people to find the users and put them in homes for the clinically confused that can't take care of themselves any more, they can use google location stuff.
the reseptors in the back of my eyes dont sense red or BLU light, they sense a caveman who tries to steal my money.
7:11 Very loud, very relaxing. LOL.
And I have to deal with this shit as a medical student. -_-
Alec Baldwin?
The lights! Its penetrating! right through his head! Melting his brain!
Is he sitting on the crapper?
The guy in his moms closet said its clinically proven..he's legit.
Apple please remove that Blue Light app. He is saying that it can boost your ability to drive at night. This is obviously a danger to your users, and crazy people will sue you just for that.
While your at it, void this guys Devolper ID.
"you can actually feel the warmth".....no crap lol.
HAHA what an idiot. he posted the link to this on his website
LMAO
"you can actually feel the warmth"....no crap.

...
Dumb as fuck. Like most crApps from crApple.
From Apple? You think Apple made this app?
What are you, stupid?
If they insist on approving everything then they should also accept some responsibility in this case.
Why is Billy Mays hiding in the bathroom?
Dibs on making the Green Wave app.

did you know that you have the same receptors in your skin that you have in your eyes? this man is a wealth of knowledge.
He kind of looks like the guy from Rammstein... I haven't heard anything new from Rammstein, are they making app's now?
No, he doesn't look like Till Lindemann...
I don't even see where you got that.
Haha, this is an interesting post and iPhone application. Wow, is it real? I love how it claims to get rid of so many "pesky things".. a person would never think their iPhone could provide all that! And I just love the name "New Light Therapy iPhone Applications". Have you thought about creating a http://bit.ly/4bybHr poll for your readers? I find them pretty useful and also fun for voting! :)
apparently snake oil isn't as marketable as iphone apps these days.
FUCK! please tell me someone ripped this video. he pulled it right while i was laughing at it! i mean, watching it!
damn!! the video has been removed...even before i could start watching it....i really need some laughs.

Hasn't anyone heard of flashlight? It does the same thing.... for free!
Under US Law, we can use TM to lay claim to those names until we finalize the applications. Our brand (Pocket Pain Doctor) has been applied for and Bluwave is TM under that brand. Saying that we have fake trademarks is wrong and irresponsible and it is defamation. I generally like this website, but you are all being very unfair. Why would none of you take me up on the offer of a free download to test it? Why? BluWave is no miracle remedy, but it does work well. And why didn't you write about Dr. Pain which has a red and blue app? The writer of this article needs to do his research and actually try something before he reviews it. I demand a retraction of the trademark bullshit because it's wrong and is defamation. You can say whatever you want about the app. hell rip it apart all day long, but don't give misinformation or lie about trademarks. I know the law and we operate well within it. Be on the lookout for RedWave coming soon because I'm giving that one away for free to prove it works.
And by the way - anyone saying an iphone doesn't use LED is wrong. The LCD iphone screens are backlit by LED. It's a fact!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-CzoveBV2k
Obviously he's referring to the backlight when he mentions LED, nanometers do exists, they are a very small value (one billionth of a meter) describing the wavelength of light in this case, but the objection to his claims is that the light isn't controllable like that on an iphone, and there is actually something called light therapy but it refers to putting someone in front of very bright lights that have a certain wavelength that trick the body into thinking it's sunlight, and it's mostly useful for people that can't go out and have a specific seasonal disorder, but obviously the iphone doesn't have a chance in hell of reaching even a fraction of the power required to work in that way, even if it had the right lightsource, plus you'd have to attach it to your eyes..
There's also BS fake 'therapies' that work with colored light on homeshopping networks, but that's not science obviously just other scammers, but this guy nicely all bunches bits of real stuff and fake stuff and his own nonsense into something that doesn't actually exist, to make some money from fools falling for it.

I just hope that the 'drowsy driving' relief does not get anyone killed. That's not only false advertising, it promotes unsafe driving habits by giving people a false sense of security.
