Possible Palm Pre, Eos, Storm 2, and more revealed in Verizon database
Well would you look at those. Six snaps from Verizon's internal inventory database showing the BlackBerry Storm 2, Touch Pro 2, Omnia II, the Samsung Convoy and a pair of previously unseen Palm devices tagged with "P101" and "P121" monikers. It's just a guess, but we, like PhoneArena, think there's a very good chance that these are the Pre (already shipping on Sprint as model P100 according to the FCC) and its little Eos cousin, respectively. Now, anyone still doubting a Q1 2010 release on Big Red?

woot?
oh boy this makes me a happy vzw customer. been holding onto my env2 for too long, i needs an upgrade to something smarter :)
I'm actually counting on the Pre coming out early next year. From rumors I heard its going to be LTE which will blow everything else out of the water.
The rumors you hear, huh?
Lol!
Not sure why its worth a laugh, that's from the verizon rep who does our phone sales at work. Now of course he's a salesman so that's why its still just "a rumor I hear".
I don't see much revealed here. Everyone knew these phones were coming out. Does those documents show dates? If so, I can't see them.
Nothing here other than a little Palm speculation and more confirmation of roadmapped items. I don't care about the inventory lists if there are no release dates.
The bad news here is the inventory at that store of Omni II is 0!
Which means the rumored launch of Omni II today at VZW is a dud.
The bell pre is p100 and the sprint pre is p100 maybe verizon is getting a totaly different device. Who is gonna want a pre 6 motnhs after its release half of its shelf life will be over and sprint will most likely b leaking pics of the pre 2.
P101, now with less WIFI?
Could you please quit the WIFi crippling BS? All future VZW BlackBerry models will have WiFi, starting with the Curve 2 and Storm 2, just like on Sprint. (Not to mention that prior to this, no CDMA BlackBerry had WiFi, not even on Sprint.) Plus many of VZW's WinMo devices have WiFi, just like their Sprint counterparts.
And it's probably because VZW's Pre will either have LTE or global connectivity (quadband GSM and possibly HSPA 2100) in addition to the CDMA and WiFI radios found on the Sprint Pre. VZW is adding global phones like crazy (Tour, Ozone, and more to come). And if it was LTE, it could be why VZW is waiting six months for the Pre. (Hopefully better build quality, too.) Though I'm surprised with Sprint marketing Clear WiMAX the way it is and with it being available now (albeit in only a very few markets), that there's no WiMAX radio in the Sprint Pre.
And one more thing, if VZW releases the Storm 2 without wifi, people will be pissed.
confirmed to have wifi
Read much? It has already been confirmed that Storm 2 will have WiFi.

And here I was hoping that the "Eos" was a phone by Canon...
"...with the best phone camera ever"
These are nice, but the Sholes will be better than them all!!!
Mwah ha ha ha ha ha, Mwhaa ha ha ha ha, ha ha ha ha ...er.... i mean.... i hope it's pretty... good.
I won't be mad that my Pre will no longer be exclusive because VZW will find some obnoxious thing to do to make their version shittier.
verizon eos? i am on the edge of my seat. no seriously, i am
who was doubting? pre is coming in q1 unless there are manufacturing delays
what about the omnia pro!?! this helio is embarassing to pull out in public. please release me from this hell ohh sweet verizon. I wait with bated breath
Until verizon lets people buy a smart phone without a data plan, they can go fuck themselves.
I guess that you're not going to buy a subsidized smartphone then. Every carrier now requires data with every smartphone that they sell.
