@ Sysphus: Yes, and that's what I DID mention in my comment. But I guess for you, price of something is the only factor determining how good or bad it is. I owned that lens til I get the "top-end" f1.2 - stil f1.8 is better value for money, for most of the people not into pro-photography. But anyways, it's difficult to reach some of the engadget audience. I should know better.
