arent they any better movie bundles?
*there
I'd rather have The Dark Knight than Batman Begins...
First
After zer0suitsamus.
Epic fail.
Fail.
Double fail!
I believe a $10 note is called a blue swimmer
Is it? I've never heard of either "swimmer" or "banjo", took me some time to figure out what was going on.
Australian slang is very regional for such things. Well from a residents perspective
The $10 is called a Banjo because there's a picture of Banjo Paterson on it, in the same way that Americans call their $100(?) a "Benjamin". Although not widely used, I have heard it before.
THIS
IS
STRAYA!!
FAIL!
What? No HDMI cable? Is Sony trying to pull a joke? So much for "ultimate."
and they include it it mini camcorders like the vada
It's probably just due to the devaluation of the adjectives in the English language in general. First, Elite became, well, less elite. Now Ultimate is less ultimate. I don't want to know what word is going to be next to suffer this fate.
I'd rather buy the harmony one addon! however 300 does look great on blu-ray
would sell better with this movie:

Why not just buy the Planet Earth collection?
事实
This could be a very good idea but they need two great movies and as mentioned before an hi cable. Then I would get this the day the eagle shits mate.
Well for an extra $10 you get 2 blu-ray movies, guess that isnt too bad.... i got this bundle the other day =P
LOL.. I bought my 80GB PS3 in the last week of december 2008 for 300 euro's (that's the same price as the new PS3 slim sells for here in the netherlands) and it included the remote and the movie 300, and that was just in a regular toystore... so having to pay that much for the remote and 2 bluray's is really too much..
It is Australia. Usually things are even more expensive.
Let us have this.
My goodness people... HDMI cables cost about $3.50 at monoprice.. stop complaining about it not being included.
The fact that it is inexpensive is not the issue.
The fact that they do not include it is.
Imagine the uninformed consumer purchasing the 'Ultimate' Blu Ray Movie Kit getting home to plug it into (of course their HD TV) and oh there's no HDMI cable. CRAP. Now I have to go back to the shopping centre to buy one.
Thanks for the inconvenience Sony! Just charge me an extra $3.50 and give me the cable I needed in the first place ;p
Why does any upscaling dvd include an hdmi (avg. price $120) and the ps3 for $299 or $399 or whatever price does not?...
I saw these a while ago and wanted to get one but I already own 300 and DO NOT want two copies.
We need a greater range to select from!
I don't take things seriously that describe themselves as "ultimate".
Might be better if they included a TV calibration disc. That'd make it ultimate.
An article attacking their movie selection? That's pretty sad.
Have you seen "10,000 B.C." ?? Now, THAT was pretty sad.
I'd rather have that "Batman Begins" PS3 cardboard box than the "10,000 BC" Blu-Ray Disc movie.
This is the paradox of Sony's Playstation Unit:
1. Playstation 3 Hardware as it is loses money, they sell it less than its cost, they are hoping to make money by selling games, even though a game is not published by Sony, they get their cut.
2. PS3 is superb Blue-Ray player, way better than any comparatively priced competition.
4. PS3 designed as a Blue-Ray player to give it a competitive advantage against other consoles also it is a reason for existing PS2 owners to upgrade to PS3
Conclusion:
If consumers buy PS3 as a Blue-Ray player but is not really interested in gaming, Sony will probably lose money over that deal.
Blu-Ray*
No the $10 note is called a "Mary Gillmore". Huh? We're not yanks! No one calls it a Banjo Patterson either!? 10 bucks, is 10 bucks. Geez.
The only person how would choose 10,000 a.c. over batman begins is a fellow mamuth hunter, like the ones you see IN the movie. Even if you already own a batman begins copy, still it has far more resale value.
OR you could just grab a PS3 (not ultimate kit) and buy yourself the BD movies that you want to get for about the same price.
If this is ultimate, I would hate to see the mediocre or below-average movie kits. They probably don't even include the damn console.
WTF Mates?
