It downloads torrent too apparently.
This looks like good value for the money, although I still prefer to mess around with my hacked WD MyBook World Ed.

This would be superb if you could get it for the 59 euro price but you have to have purchased the xtreamer thingy as well. I already have a media streamer (PS3) and a XBOX360.
While a great price, I would NOT buy from this company. Their #1 selling product, the "Xtreamer" which they're known for, sucks. Read their forums. Users order products and have waited months with no update regarding shipping details. Lots of users receive their items and they're defective. People post on their forums asking why their unit hasn't shipped yet, and write a well written complaint, and mods delete and lock down any topic that reflects negatively on the company. It's even an ongoing joke on the popcorn hour/NMT website about how bad their company is.
Xtreamer forums are accessible at http://forum.xtreamer.net so anyone can see for themselves whether negative comments are suppressed or not.
And why can't NMT let discussions comparing NMTs to other media players exist witout having to lock them up ??
Well, I bought one and I'm Xtremely happy! The thing plays all my media files really well (including HD mkv videos). They are also working on their firmware and some exciting features are coming by the end of October. In short, the Xtreamer is cheap, fast, and gets the job done. I would also venture to say that the majority of us are xtremely happy with our Xtreamer.

This way you can buy drives that suit your needs, ie 2 x 2tb if you are looking for 4tb storage or 2 x 500gb if that is all you need... you get the idea.
Yeah I can see for myself whether negative comments are suppressed or not. It took me 4 seconds to find an example and I've never been on the Xtreamer forums before.

A user asked about delivery and he was threatened with banning, awesome customer service.
Maybe if you took 4 secs to comprehend, you will see that the post is referring to off-topic delivery discussions in firmware and other technical threads. There is indeed a separate dedicated sections for people to complain about deliveries and shipments.
Indeed the forum is censored....It seems now that the sales are recovering, we are assisting again of deleted messages and pressure not to question about certain simple things from the moderators. Some are so simple that make me guess that administrator has no control over what is going on.
It is a pity realy. I bougth the unit because the openess of the company, now im starting to see that this pseudo openess only exists until they get a firmware that works...after that they wont give a poo on what the customers say or want.
I cant understand WHY should a people be banned to ask for what it paid of...
With e-TRAYz same will hapen in terms of firmware, but this time they took precautions. The FW will be proprietary which means you cant poke with it... otherwise you will void warranty as it hapens by using their beta without u being chosen as "beta tester". I forecast that it will take another 1/2 year until e-TRAYz fully works...untill there other units fully working will surpass their vague offer
hulu, a company which threatens to mass ban users who inquire about delivery deserves to go out a business, and I'm sure you will. If I ordered a product from you and was still waiting for delivery, I too would be posting it all over your forums whether you like it or not.
