Depends on how you define "works"! It's super easy to set-up and hasn't had any problems recognizing the video files on my home PC. That's the good news. The bad news is picture quality which is quite bad. It's comparable to watching a video on-line circa 1999. Hulu is pretty grainy looking on my 52" HDTV. Also quite a bit of stuttering. It's definitely not a replacement for cable.
PlayOn works just fine for streaming movies. I placed my PlayOn settings to Max and found Netflix has the best quailty, with the internet sites being "Okay". If I were going to buy it, I think the biggest draw would be Netflix, with the rest like Hulu just being a convenience of it playing on the TV rather than the computer.
Thanks for the info. I use a Linux HTPC on my HDTV and PlayOn gets me Netflix and Hulu inside of the XBMC interface, and that is the big win for me with PlayOn. But if I can use the Wii on my standard def TV with PlayOn also, that would be a bonus. I'll have to check it out. Been looking for a reason to move the Wii to the other TV anyway.
The Rip is the latest addition to the Boogie eWriter line, devices that let you scribble notes and drawings and can be wiped away with the press of a button.

Can anyone confirm if PlayOn still works? I can't imagine why they would break it, but companies sometimes do stupid things.
