Microsoft Word allowed to stay on sale... for now
Just as we predicted, Microsoft's request to have that ban on sales of Word put on hold pending appeal of i4i's XML patent victory has been granted. That means IT managers and excitable first-year college students can continue to happily throw down cash for the world's most popular word processor, while the rest of us twiddle our thumbs waiting for either proceedings to resume on September 23 or Stevey Ballms to write the big check and make this whole case disappear forever.

but... your "masters degree" from the University of Third World is equivalent to grade 5 in North America...
wow. you really don't have any idea how the legal system works, do you?!
that was a response to "sacapuntas", i do love it when the weblogs comment system doesn't reply properly!
what college student actually pays for microsoft office software? that stuff is usually free to download for students, at least for me it is.. along with all the latest adobe software
I wish Word would disappear. Go luck i4i, we are rooting for you. Maybe if MS stop stealing other companies ideas and came up with their own they wouldn't be in court all the time.
Microsoft Office, Open Office, either way, time to make it is what's spent, money or not.
It's okay, I guess. I still like Microsoft Office though... more familiar with, and obviously, more friendly with work and school when I need to trade files with peers and mentors.
to BINGO:
If you were smart you would not call it a third world country for it's not. Read wiki and get educated just a little bit or render a visit and you would be amazed how different and beautiful that country is! Actually FYI americans especially love/like our country a lot so if you have never been anywhere except you own village it's "you guys" then who never get out of your villages and know nothing about other countries and become a third world country!By statistics you have lots and lots uneducated people unlike us Ukrainians. No offense mate
And you also have developed monopoly in everything!
P.S. If you wanna discuss it give me your number I will give you a call and we will talk
