ASUKA's SK700 digiframe adds DVB-T in vain attempt to wow
Truth be told, ASUKA's first digital photo frame with integrated DVB-T wasn't all that invigorating, so it should come as no surprise that its second one has also failed to get our juices flowing. Of course, we may have felt entirely different if we called South Korea home, but until mobile TV takes off here in the States, we can rest soundly knowing that nothing of this sort will ever make its way into the mainstream. The SK700 that you see above quietly debuted this past week at IFA, bringing with it a 7-inch touchscreen, integrated DVB-T tuner, 800 x 480 resolution, FM reception, multimedia playback, real-time TV recording, 2GB or 4GB of built-in memory, a pair of stereo speakers and even an AV input. There's no word on a price or release date just yet, but you'll probably have to look real hard to spot this one in between the me-toos scattered about.

The first thing I noticed in the photo is one of Brisbane's Riverfire. I wonder if they licenced it, or just stole it off the internet.
It is DVB-T not DVB-H so it is standard terrestrial digital, not handheld or mobile digital television, so the market is far larger than you make out.
The Wikipedia article here shows just how large a market this product has worldwide:

Preventing Loan Foreclosure If You Have A VA Loan
If you think you will be unable to make your payments on time or are already behind, the VA can sometimes help prevent loan foreclosure. Here are some option that you might consider if you are facing loan foreclosure with your lender. These may work even though you may not have a VA loan.
If you have a VA loan that goes into default the loan servicer is required to contact you to determine what is causing your default and see if arrangements can be made that can correct the situation and cure the default. If the problem is not resolved and you are 3 months delinquent, the loan servicer is required to contact the VA to let them know your loan is in default.
Once the VA has received notice they will try to contact you to discuss your situation in detail to see what the best plan of action is. The VA can also assist in discussions with your loan servicer. The VA will need information from you before they can proceed, such as:
• The reason you are, or will soon be, in default
• Your current financial/employment situation
• Whether you or someone else occupies the property
• Whether or not you wish to keep the property
The VA can assist delinquent homeowners facing loan foreclosure. However, it can be difficult to connect with the VA and sometimes the loan servicer is not helpful with this either. You will need to be persistent.
The most common way to Save House
is to have a Loan workout. With a loan workout is by a workout plan with the lender where you are allowed a period of time to make up the default amount. In some instances the arrearages can be put on the back of the loan so so additional monthly amount is due. The VA is often helpful in negotiating a workout, but it is helpful if you, the delinquent borrower has a handle on your financial details and how to best present you facts so you can qualify for a Loan Workout .
Pleading you are broke and cannot afford the payment will not get you accepted for a workout. However, explaining what caused you to get behind and what you have done to correct the problem goes a long way in making points with the VA and loan servicer.
DVB-T makes it, in practice, a portable TV. Don't know how much it will cost, but that "vain attempt to wow" actually worked on me.
Asuka? O_o
Considering the UK is using DVB-T for standard digital terrestrial TV, this is a relatively attractive proposition...
I still wouldn't get one though. =P
