T-Mobile BlackBerry Onyx press image leaks out
The BlackBerry Onyx hasn't exactly kept itself a secret in the past few months, so it's no surprise that we're seeing what looks to be the official press image and release from T-Mobile well before the handset's launch. No big surprises here, really -- it's still a 3G mashup of the Bold and the Curve 8900 with that new optical trackball -- but apparently RIM's preloading it with the Amazon MP3 store, so that's slightly interesting. From what we can tell, it's due in early November, but pricing is still a mystery -- hopefully RIM and T-Mobile have saved the best surprise for last.

It's funny how most of you people have never actually tried T-mobile's service, yet you like to complain about it. T-mobile's coverage and service is great. Try it before you speak!
if it's got that same mush keyboard the bold did i'm going to be pissed
I think it's supposed to be more like the tour's. A defined "click" but with enough give to be easy on the thumbs compared to the "clackity clack" of the curves
Its not just you and why are they covering this like its actually important?
My family has the last several Blackberries and save for the flip and a few others they offer, they all look the same. The Storm is just a BB with a slide out keyboard.
the storm has a slide out keyboard? ...thats news to me buddy...im pretty sure...no, actually positive, the storm DOES NOT have a slide out keyboard...
...obviously not a Storm tho'.
Please, don't judge T-Mobile before you know anything about it. My wife has a BB 8520 with the new trackpad, and its amazing. Much improved to the trackball. I use an unlocked Iphone and T-Mobile fully supports it (They even have Teir 2 tech support dedicated for iPhone users). Oh, and the best part, we share 700 anytime minutes, unlimited messages, and unlimited data on both lines for $129 a month. My friend gets 700 minutes and data just himself for $99 on Verizon. I always have great service in my area (San Antonio TX + Austin TX).
As for the phone, I may purchase one for myself because I actually prefer my wife's BlackBerry to my iPhone (Just a personal preference, Iphone is great of course) and I want to try out T-Mo's 3G for myself.
Yay. Another Blackberry. 1995 called. They want their OS back.
Your dad called and begging for your mom, but I just hung up b/c I'm not done with her yet.
Let's give T-Mobile props for stepping up their game. In a year time, they were able to come up to a completely new competitive level on their high end phone offerings. Great job!!!
