Video: iTunes 9 Home Sharing and iPhone app management

We're also pumped about the new Home Sharing feature in iTunes 9, which lets you transfer content between five different machines directly without screwing around with network shares or USB drives. We've seriously been waiting for a feature like this since iTunes sharing was first launched -- it also works exactly like you'd expect, and we think it'll make managing media across multiple machines much, much easier. Videos after the break!
Home Sharing
App Management and Syncing

I just updated to 3.1 and iTunes 9 and I can see the app editing panel but it appears to be grayed out, and I cant click on any of the app icons or anything- anyone else having this problem?
So there wasn't a "One more thing..." today???
Anyone else notice the Windows 7 integration?
What's with the whole error 5002 now that I try to update my iPod Touch 2nd gen 2.2.1 to 3.1.1? It worked fine for my father's iPhone on 3.0.
hmmm, did you pony up the 5 bucks for the new firmware?
SOMEONE PLEASE CONFIRM:
Can you upload your app configuration from your iPhone/iPod touch to iTunes??
For example: I rearranged my apps via iTunes which now are nicely updated on my iPhone. Now I am on the road and want to arrange my apps on my iPhone/iPod touch so that when I sync back later to my iTunes it will have the most recent app config I created while on the road. NOT. iTunes puts them back to what they are in the iTunes app manager. You would think it would sync the "most recent config".
Anyone else have this issue or is it me?
Thanks
that's ill..
Engadget iphone app. Way to advertise your product:o)
Interesting features. I also wish the home sharing was more of an integrated sync solution for ALL content.
Good job, but PLEASE learn-to-annunciate-when-you-speak!
Why I'm pissed- they got rid of the Shopping Cart!
Ugh. I relied on that to prevent me from making impulse buys and wasting all my money...
ohhh... THAT'S why Apple got rid of it.
fyi, if you hold down ctrl(pc) while you click a checkbox in the app list, it selects all the apps... allowing you to do a clean wipe and start from scratch... which is really nice!
Installed iTunes 9 -- way too slow! Spinning beachball all the time -- example: just to go page down or page up. Restored 8.2. Thank God for Time Machine.
iTunes 9 doesnt work with my iPhone 3GS the applications dont sync. I restored my iPhone and now i cant put any applications on it....
I am T-pain is surely the greatest app ever released.
finally.
What it *doesn't* do is proper centralised library management. You can't have a master iTunes library and connect multiple machines to it and have iPods attached to those machines sync to the central one. It gives you the option of making local copies of another library's contents and that's about it...
Finally, App management in iTunes. Taking this a small step further would be nice though. Give us the ability to put an app ANYWHERE on the screen rather than the next open space. If I have a page with 8 apps, I should be able to put 4 apps across the very top of the page, and 4 apps across the very bottom of the page thus leaving the middle 2 rows empty (much like Android)
does copying files from one computer to another require download of data?
Has anyone sync iTune with both my PC's "My Music" folder and my home network drive's "My Music" share folder?
How does iTune recognize network drives?
Does Network drive considered another authorized machine? But, I'm accessing it from my computer 1 (desktop) . Of course, the same home (networked: connected to the router) file server can be accessed from my computer 2 (laptop).
