Packard Bell debuts oneTwo line of all-in-one PCs
It seems like a no-brainer, introducing small footprint, multitouch Windows machines to rooms usually off-limits to PCs. HP's certainly taking a stab at it, and now the "trendy lifestyle brand" (ugh) Packard Bell is going for the gold in Europe. First up, the oneTwo L sports a 23-inch (1600 x 900) display, an Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 graphics, E-SATA, and optional Blu-ray drive and DVB TV tuner. For the more budget-conscious touchscreen fiend, the oneTwo M comes in with a 20-inch (1920 x 1080) display, Intel Core 2 Duo T6600, and ATI Mobility Radeon HD series 4500. Both will ship with Windows 7, up to 8GB RAM, PacBell's TouchGadgets (including TouchFriends social networking integration for Flickr and Facebook, TouchMusic media player, TouchMemo, and TouchMediaShare), a 5-in-1 memory card reader, and a webcam. You can expect to pay €999 ($1,452) for the former, or €599 ($872) for the latter. On sale October 22. Video after the break.

They're still in business?
I second that motion.
What motion? Are you high?
only in europe. I believe they're owned by Lenovo too..
Acer, they are owned by Acer.
Ahhh Packard Bell. How I hated your 486SX/25 from back in the day. Ahh who am I kidding, I loved it. ;)
Let's see how many hate comments pile up until the next Engadget article.
Go.
I HATE SWISS CHEESE!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
I SWISS CHEESE HATE !!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
I CHEESE HATE SWISS!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
I genuinely dislike swiss cheese.
That looks pretty nice.
Looks can be deceiving
Looks like a HP TouchSmart with a wired KB and Mouse. If your going to make a blatant copy at least get the peripherals right.

oneTwo....three...TKO
My first PC was a 486 dx2-66 Packard Bell and it couldn't run the games that came installed on it.
No, a 486 won't run Crysis.
23" screen has lower resolution than the 20" screen? I'm guessing that was written wrong.
Oops, wait, it's Packard Bell... so it very well could be true.
The screen looks too glossy. You will see your face more than the screen content.
I always made fun of my friends who were unlucky enough to get packard bells. They seemed to come preinstalled with a packard bell virus that made the computers shitty.
I was happy with with my 486DX until I couldn't play Quake 1.
? looks exactly like the HP one..
dude is doing a multitouch demo and didn't realize this while playing the multitouch hockey game... 2 fingers m'man!
lol yea the illustrator is handicapt i think he has only one vinger :-)
make fun of your friends ok your probly 16 and gaming well this isnt a gaming computer .
indeed the resolution on this site is wrong its the same as the 20 "
what more..
well the screen isnt that glossy its just the way how they took that movie
well i think hes doing well for this kind of pc and the price of it
the dvd is kind noisy when he starts when he runs he get quiet
hes not the kind of pc where you eat chips and use it
but fun and make my homepages on it and its ok no cables
well i am glad i have one
@giovanni34
Hi there.
I want to buy the "M" for myself.
BUT, how often do you use the touch screen?
Another thing that worries me, is that these pre-installed machines normally have their HDD partitioned and that I don't want to have. I want to use the whole 1TB for myself and not share it with the OS. Is it the case here?
Is it not better to buy a normal PC without touch screen but the machine is a whole lot better, faster ...
I will appreciate it if you can advise.
Regards,
Deon
@Deon wel this has 750 bg hdd and its partitioned 2x 350 gb well i also wanted it to see like 50 GB for os and 700 on D but its isnt this way
well with this machien ther isnt even a recovery dvd or cd you can set it back to fabric settings thats all and i dunno when you do this if you can change the amounts of gb that u want to use for urself maybe for that you better ask your question to pacard bell it self
and for the touch screen well to be honest i dont use it verry often i sometime work on my website and then the options u use or to small to click on with your fingers. so there i use my mouse
but for playing cd's and look at pictures that you have it is verry usefull and fun to use
like everything it has good and bad things
