Hmm interesting. Atleast they are pointing them to quality lcd sets. The samsung led edge lit tvs use a lot less energy which a lot of people are looking for now adays. I have a samsung 40 inch 6000 and my parents just bought the 46 inch 6000 series.

The edge LED TV's are a bunch of crock. Unless you're living in a corridor in Yorkshire, what are you going to do with those extra two inches?
Back lit is much better when it comes to picture quality.
