The Engadget Show is today -- here's all the info!

The show will take place at the Tishman Auditorium at Parsons The New School for Design. The beautiful venue (which you can see in a photo after the break) is located at 66 W. 12th Street between 5th and 6th Ave. Seating is limited and tickets will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis -- which means if you want to join us in the audience for the show, you'll have to arrive early and be prepared for a little wait.
Here are some facts about the show:
- The show is graciously sponsored by Nokia, and hosted by Parsons The New School for Design
- Bit Shifter (one of our favorite chiptune artists) will be playing live at the first show!
- The total show length will be around an hour
Here is what you need to know if you're coming today to be part of the audience:
- There is no admission fee -- tickets are completely free
- The event is all ages
- The venue seats just over 450 people
- Parsons students are welcomed, and we encourage them to come!
- Tickets will be available for pickup at the Tishman Auditorium at 2PM today, and we're strongly encouraging people to get their tickets and not stand in line -- just pick up a ticket and then return in a couple hours for the taping. If you have a ticket, you'll have a seat!
- You cannot pick up tickets for other people -- if you want your friend to get a ticket, bring your friend!
- The show begins at 5PM, and doors will open at 4:30PM -- no one will be seated after 4:50PM
- Hold on to your ticket stubs -- we have a very good reason which you'll find out about at the taping!
- If you're going to tweet about the show (you know you want to), feel free to include #engadgetshow

getting to read about random gadgets = priceless. having to listen to new yorkers tell me about them = torture.
I loled at that.
My last name is Parsons, can I get a special VIP pass to come? :p
what channel will it be on
Where's the podcast? Was it really worth live streaming it on Friday to less than 1% of your audience and delaying it by more than 2 days to the other 99%?
Let's just focus on releasing the podcast every Friday.
Xenon I want to see a higher resolution image of your avatar.
Oh and "Free hat".... wait no "Live streaming!"
They somehow lost the podcast.
I hope we get some details on the PalmTablet
does anyone have the link of the streaming when its going to be live? or is it going to be in tv? i have directv... what channel? 0_0
wow I am really surprised that there is no live feed
kinda bummed now actually
For real, no stream???
Engadget=FAIL
Live streaming is not that big of a deal, they said in their last post that they would put up a video of the show. I'd actually prefer that anyway so I can skip around and re-watch stuff.
HEY GAIZ WHAT CHANNEL IS IT ON HURRRRR
THIS IS A SIN! I CANT SEE IT ONLINE! AHHH
No live stream? No live blog? Apparently no cell signa/WiFi inside so my attempts to follow #engadgetshow on Twitter in lieu of a live blog are almost at a standstill.
Dear Engadget,
WHY?
Sincerely,
Everyone who is not there in person.
There is a live blog on Precnetral:

G'damn. The word is they gave away free touchstones to all attendees.
stfu with the "live stream" bullshit.
Josh and team,
Just got back from the Engadget Show tonight. You guys put on a supurb show. Format was fantastic, relaxed, and frankly a lot of fun. All things considered with the web medium, it's nice to see the action, first hand and in person.
Keep up the great work.

Expect of the good device
Nice..
Where's the podcast feed URL?
If any of you knew anything about TV talk shows you'd know they are never shown live on air. Especially for a a first episode give them some time before you start complaining. I'd Expect the Engadget Show to be posted tomorrow morning instead of tonight.
Not rubbing it in for those who didn't see it... it was a great show. It will be worth the wait when it uploads. Josh, Nilay and Paul (and all who helped to put it on) did an awesome job. Classy interview and entertaining roundtable. Looking forward to seeing this each month whether or not you guys have a guest the calibur of Rubenstein. Frankly, I could just watch you guys nerd out for a couple of hours. (Funny how even in person you guys talk over each other. But it works. :-) )
livestreamnowkthxbye

Free touchstone chargers were cool for anyone with a Palm PRE
The show was really good. The interview was solid, and the videocast was funny as hell. This http://twitpic.com/hm480 made it worth getting there at 9:30 AM =P
