MovieWedge beanbag keeps your iPhone upright, costs ten bucks
You know, 2009 is turning into a banner year for pillow-assisted gadgetry. Not only has Philips introduced the CushionSpeaker, but we've just been hepped to a similar idea for the portable media set, an iPhone / Zune / etcetera stand called the MovieWedge. If you've ever wanted to spend $9.95 on a bean bag, now's your chance, kids -- this guy's shaped like a pyramid, constructed out of micro-suede (perfect for wiping your display free of fingerprints) and who knows? It may free you from the tyranny of having to hold your iPhone upright on long plane rides. But one thing it won't free you from? The shame of spending ten bucks on a beanbag. Peep 'er in the gallery below.

Is it strictly iPhone only?... If i happen to put my soon to be new Zune HD on it will it eat it?
Now that's what I call a douche-bag!
I'm making my own with a soc filled with pennies, mine will be dual purpose.
I could beat would be robbers with it, plus us it as a stand for my zune HD.
So the Toss Across has additional value now? Cool - it doubles as a fun lawn activity and a set of several pillows for the family's iPod collection.
Finally, you iPhone can masturbate properly.
Never heard of it.

would be good if it did portrait too
Awesome. I will get one if I could laid my hands on it. Does it available in Asia or accept overseas delivery?
a 2$ velcro strap works for me in airplanes in conjunction with http://reeplay.it, a service sort like instapaper for video: time, device and place shifting of web video.

I got a plastic stand as standard with my 1G ipod touch, i'm just happy that it still fits my 2G touch and I don't have to spend extra on getting one.
So... having an extra "i" on a header makes Engadget articles more interesting?
I think the Iphones are great, I mean, my dad has the 3g, and my girlfriend has the 3gs, but things like this make me glad I have my HTC Touch Pro 2 (Telus) which can prop it's own screen up, and I've already used that feature many times.. ;)
WOW! Truly a smart concept, yet so simple.
